We are currently seeking personable and friendly Nursing Staff to assist our residents with their daily activities. Both part time and full time positions are available on the day and evening schedules.

For the interested, but not currently certified, we offer financial assistance and reimbursement for Certification classes. Additionally, we offer nursing scholarships that cover most of the cost to obtain your LPN or RN licensure.

Activity Aide

The activity department is looking to hire a part time employee.  

1.  Candidate must be able to work with a flexible schedule.

2.  Must possess a special interest in working with long term care residents. 

3.  Must have the ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, volunteers and facility staff.

4.  Must be creative, able to work independently, organize time and establish priorities.

5.  Familiarity with or ability to learn computer software programs and basic typing skills. 

Dietary Aide

We are looking to hire someone who is looking for a rewarding job in the dietary field.  Must be a TEAM player and possess a special interest in working with long term care residents, families, and visitors.  Opportunity for advancement into cooking positions.  Must be able to understand and follow state and federal safety and sanitation regulation.

RN

Clarissa Care Center is now Hiring for an RN. Full-Time shifts are currently available (including every other weekend and holiday).Must be a TEAM player and possess a special interest in working with Long Term Care residents, families, and visitors. We are looking for a caring, highly motivated person to work as a member of our team.   Responsibilities include providing nursing care to residents within the assigned unit. Observes symptoms and conditions of residents. Reports symptoms and conditions to R.N. and to the physician as necessary. Administers medication as prescribed by physician and notes reaction. Prepares for and assists physician with treatments and rounds as required. Accurately maintains records reflecting residents’ conditions, medications and treatments. Assists in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment which will allow residents to maintain their highest practicable level of functioning. Monitors cares and treatments being given to residents by nursing assistants.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Central Todd County Care Center is seeking personable and friendly Certified Nursing Assistants to help our residents with their Activities of Daily Living as described in each resident’s individualized plan of care.  We have both part and full time positions available.  For those interested, but not currently certified, we offer financial assistance and reimbursement for the certification classes.  Additionally, we offer nursing scholarships that cover most of the cost for obtaining your LPN or RN licensure.  CTCCC offers a wide variety  of benefits and is an equal opportunity employer.

Alexandria Technical College

At Alexandria Technical & Community Technical College, the first step in achieving a nursing degree is to obtain your Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Once you have earned that certificate, you are able to apply to the Practical Nursing program. The Associate Degree Nursing program (ADN) is a mobility program, which means you must be a Licensed Practical Nurse to apply for the ADN program.

Each nursing program at the college has specific requirements.

M State - Wadena

M State offers three nursing degrees, RN Degree (Generic Option – 64 credits), RN Degree (Advanced Standing Options – 32 credits) and Practical Nursing (40 Credits).
